"If the foundation be destroyed what would the righteous do ?" ( P salms 11:3) remains an un answered question as long as we remain w here we are , not fin ding ans wer to it. Christianity does not separate any one from challenges. In fact it is the beginning of greater challenges (John 15:19). Challenges that most of the time keeps us thinking and yearning for solution for quite a very long time because “Man born of a woman is of few days and filled with troubles.” (Job 14:1). To become stuck in life and not knowing what to do is not restricted to one person, neither is it to only a particular problem but to all and at different times. I often experienced the problem of getting stuck and not knowing what to do after I have achieved a goal. The result of this is, frustration and depression will locate me later on, because I have been in a place for too long when other things which were supposed to be achieved are neglected. Other things may also be the r...
The doctrine of once saved always saved is satanic and deceptive. It is Satan’s way of making the church ineffective as the people that are baptized into the faith will gradually lose the truth and abandon the faith because it makes them to be relaxed with the motive “I am saved” after all what else is important. There are two books where the deeds of man are written; the book of life and the book of death. There is no name that is written with a permanent marker. What keep your name in any of the books is your deeds. Though your name was written in the book of life, once you commit evil, automatically your name disappears from the book of life and appears in the book of death and vice versa (Ps. 69:18, 1 John 3:8, Rev. 20:12; 22:19). The feeling that salvation gives to a believer is always overwhelming: I felt loosed, like I was freed from a very heavy weight.” confessed a friend after conversion. This feeling do not just come alone, it comes with a complete irrita...
Satan is good at nothing else but telling lies from the beginning, either through accusation or pretending to be a friend. His lies seem to be more effective when we are trapped in circumstances that would not go for a very long time. We most times are forced to believe him because the time we expected to have come out of the trap has long passed yet no sign of the end. So he probably may come back mockingly to say: “I told you.” Then gradually we may start yielding to his persuasions. The devil is a great liar. Telling or hearing success stories is a sweet and beautiful experience. It gives us joy and evokes our ego, but if you have ever experience a stubborn problem before you will agree that there are many things you are saying now that you forgot to say when you were still facing the problem. Problems are greater than problems. When we are faced with one that is stubborn, our countenance changes; it doesn’t give any chance to think correctly, neither does it tel...
“Therefore, whosoever, hears this saying of mine and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man which built his house upon a rock; and the rain descended and the flood came and the wind blew and beat upon that house; and it fell not for it was founded upon a rock. Matt. 7:24-25” What makes us Christians is what we do and not just what we say. We are walking/working into eternal life and not talking into it. Here, we judge our lives and believes based on what we do knowing strongly that our rewards are apportioned to use according to our works (Rev.22:12, 13). Also we believe that we are surely going to make it as long as we are on the same page with Jesus_ doing the Father’s WILL . The bible tells us in Matt. 11:12 that “from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent take it by force”. A supporting scripture says “the law and the prophet were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom...
